Job Description
As a Commercial Electrician with PRST, you will support and assist with electrical installations and tasks on various commercial job sites. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Work on electrical circuits, panel boards, wiring, and control systems.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, providing efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other trades to meet project goals.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
- Install lighting systems, outlets, and switches to customer specifications.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism on-site.
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid electrician's license
- Proven experience in commercial electrical work
- Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electric Code) and local electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a variety of environments
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to work at heights, in tight spaces, and lift heavy materials
The hourly rate for this position is $36.00-$/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
