Job Description
As an Electrician / Systems Technician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades you will support on large scale commercial HVAC projects removing and connecting HVAC systems, installing IMC pipe, power and lighting circuits, devices, and equipment. Responsibilities
- Remove/demo existing HVAC systems.
- Install/bend 1/2" new IMC conduit, pull new wiring, and install additional conduit as needed. Include installation of hangers, cable tray, terminations, power and lighting circuits, devices, and associated equipment.
- Connect low voltage wiring and components (motors, VFDs, and other electrical parts) including single and multiphase work.
- Conduct safety inspections of all major pieces of equipment, making repairs, adjustments/calibrations as required.
- Test circuit connections using electrical test equipment.
- Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
Qualifications & Experience
- Knowledge of basic electrical diagnostic equipment for AC service up to 480 V
- 3-5 years electrical experience including experience with 110, 220, and 480 volts and control circuits
- Lift up to 90 pounds
- Standing for prolonged periods of time
- Frequent bending and squatting
- Ability to work on step ladders and extension ladders
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
