Location: San Jose, CA / South Bay
Schedule: Monday–Friday with on-call availability

Position: Full-Time / Long-Term Opportunity
What You'll Do
- Install, service, test, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
- Install wiring and fire alarm devices according to project plans and specifications
- Bend and install EMT conduit
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, designs, and system specifications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, wiring, and device issues
- Perform quarterly and annual fire alarm and sprinkler inspections
- Test and evaluate systems at customer locations
- Maintain accurate documentation of labor, materials, completed work, remaining scope, and as-built plans
- Communicate effectively with superintendents, customers, office staff, and other trades
- Help keep projects on schedule and within scope
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory
Responsibilities
- 2+ years of Fire Alarm installation and/or service experience
- Active California Electrical Trainee (ET) registration
- Strong electrical wiring and construction knowledge
- California Life Safety Technician Card (Blue Card) or NICET Level II preferred
- Experience installing and bending EMT conduit
- Ability to read electrical and fire alarm plans and specifications
- Proficient with hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license with a good DMV record
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot in the field
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and use ladders throughout the workday
- Must pass required pre-employment screening
The hourly rate for this position is $40-$50/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
