Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking a reliable and skilled Glazier / Glass Installer to join our team. This role involves installing and fabricating high-quality glass products for residential and commercial projects, including windows, mirrors, tabletops, shower enclosures, glass railings, entrance doors, and IG units.
The ideal candidate must be safety-conscious, able to work both in the shop and on job sites, and willing to assist with installations and metal frame fabrication.
Position: Glazier / Glass Installer
Pay Rate: $22–$23/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Bloomfield, Connecticut
OSHA 10: Required
Transportation: Reliable transportation with a clean driving record required
Key Responsibilities
- Install windows, mirrors, tabletops, shower enclosures, glass railings, entrance doors, and IG (insulated glass) units
- Assist with fabrication of metal frames and glass products in the shop
- Assist with commercial glass and mirror installations
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow OSHA 10 safety guidelines at all times
Responsibilities
Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Glazier or in glass installation preferred
- Ability to safely handle and install large glass panels and products
- Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Must have OSHA 10 certification
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Team-oriented with a professional attitude

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
