Job Description

As a Heavy Equipment Operator with PeopleReady Skilled Trades you will support on large scale commercial projects by safely operating a Double Track Dozer (GPS operated) to dig or excavate dirt. Responsibilities

Operate heavy machinery to move dirt, soil, rocks, and other materials
Collaborate with construction teams and supervisors to meet project goals
Ensure equipment maintenance and safety procedures are followed
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
Analyze terrain and elevation for proper equipment use and material removal
Inspect equipment for safety and maintenance needs
Adhere to local and federal safety regulations

Qualifications & Experience

Experience operating heavy machinery, specifically dozers
Ability to cut grade, slope and trenches ideal
Knowledge of safety measures and equipment maintenance
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physically fit to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Physical Demands:
Ability to sit and operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time
Ability to climb onto and off of equipment
Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

The hourly rate for this position is $46.55/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
