Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring skilled licensed plumbers for a major ground-up construction project featuring 168 luxury apartment units, rooftop amenities, high-end finishes, and a 12,000 SF landscaped courtyard in downtown New Haven.
Work includes full installation of plumbing systems, BMW systems, water piping, fixtures, and specialty mechanical components across multiple floors.
Start Date: December 8, 2025
Project Duration: 4–6 Months
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Parking: On-site lot adjacent to the project

POSITION 1: Licensed Plumber – Licensed Connecticut P2 Required
Pay Range: $45–$47/hr
Job Description
The Licensed P2 Plumber will install, maintain, and troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical systems throughout the 168-unit development. Work includes BMW system installation, water piping distribution, fixture installation, blueprint reading, and coordination with project managers and apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot residential multi-unit plumbing systems
- Install BMW and water piping
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics
- Install fixtures, valves, hangers, and supports
- Ensure compliance with Connecticut plumbing codes
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Connecticut P2 License (required)
- Minimum 2 years plumbing experience in multi-unit or large-scale construction
- Strong understanding of BMW and water piping systems
- Must have OSHA 10 certification
- Must provide own hand tools and basic plumbing tools
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights as required
- Strong communication, reliability, and attention to detail

The hourly rate for this position is $47.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
