Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is hiring electricians for upcoming projects! We are looking for experienced electricians ranging from apprentice to journeyman to work in various locations throughout the Colorado Springs Area. Work is mostly commercial construction but may also be residential or industrial.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair various types of raceway and cable tray systems electrical equipment and fixtures
- Troubleshoot motor and control systems
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
- Adhere to all quality and safety codes
- Work with all types of Rigid Metal Conduit RMC and IMC to include the following...
- Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT)
- Electrical Non-Metallic Tubing (ENT)
- Flexible Metal Conduit (FMC and LFMC).
- Rigid PVC Conduit
- Knowledge of NEC a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, electrical equipment and hand tools and manuals
Qualifications & Experience
- · Basic Hand tools
- · CO State Electrical License
- · In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area (Electrical)
- · Must be comfortable with heights
- · Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- · Position may require a drug screen
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00-$40.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
