PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is hiring Low Voltage Technicians for a commercial construction project in Glendale, AZ. In this role, you’ll support commercial and residential projects across the Phoenix Metro Area, earning $26–$28/hour, with weekly pay, health insurance benefits, and access to our Respect the Craft rewards program.

Assignment Length: 3–6 months

Key Responsibilities

Perform professional-grade data terminations (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber) including patch panels, keystone jacks, and field connectors

Work independently in IDFs and MDFs, reading and interpreting cable layouts/documentation

Route, label, and test cables according to TIA/EIA standards

Use tools such as cable testers, toners, punch-down tools, and fiber splicing tools (if required)

Maintain a clean and organized work environment with attention to detail
Responsibilities
3+ Years Prior experience in structured cabling and data terminations
Ability to work effectively inside IDF/MDF environments with minimal supervision
Solid understanding of cabling standards and best practices
Familiarity with labeling, documentation, and cable certification processes
Must have basic hand tools (specialized tools a plus)
OSHA-10 Certification (complimentary training available if needed)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (stand, bend, kneel, walk) throughout the day
Must pass background check and drug test
The hourly rate for this position is $26-28/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
