Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is now hiring talented and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team! Maintenance technicians are skilled in a variety of areas including plumbing repair, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems and small repairs to apartments.
Responsibilities
- Mending plumbing systems, including sinks, tubs, toilets, and water heaters
- Repairing and maintaining all home appliances
- Restoring door locks and key systems
- Making repairs while possibly crouching, lying down, standing on top of ladders, or even in the dark
- Performing minor construction and/or carpentry work
Competitive pay rate up to $19 an hour.
Sign on bonus upon completion of 160 hours.
Qualifications & Experience
- HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, bend, and kneel.
- Tools of trade and the ability to bring them onsite.
- References to verify your professional skills and experience.
