Job Description

As a Commercial painter with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you'll support contractors through out Bradenton, FL and surrounding areas. In this full time role, you'll earn $ 20-25 an hour, enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule.

Prepare surfaces and apply primers, paints, and finishes with precision.

Mix and match paint colors accurately according to project specifications.

Protect surrounding areas from paint damage using appropriate materials.

Ensure quality by inspecting completed work and performing necessary touch-ups

Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly.

Collaborate with team members to meet project requirements.

Adhere to safety regulations to ensure a secure work environment.

Responsibilities

Must be 18 years of age.
Must have reliable transportation.
Proven experience as a commercial painter or similar role.
Proficiency in surface preparation techniques and application of primers, paints, and finishes.
Strong knowledge of color mixing and matching.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately while adhering to project timelines.
Possess excellent attention to detail.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the painting industry.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and effective collaboration with team members.
Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various environments and conditions.
This is a plant so you must wear white pants and a white t-shirt.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00-25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
