Job Description
- Assemble and erect a planetarium-style dome structure to exact specifications.
- Work at heights of 60+ feet on scaffolding platforms and articulating boom lifts while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete structural assembly.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience in trades such as steel erection, millwrighting, or carpentry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints with precision.
- Comfortable working at heights in a safe and controlled manner.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
- Certification to operate articulating boom lifts (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures for working at heights and around heavy equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
The hourly rate for this position is $30-$35/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
