Job Description
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial and residential plumbing systems.
- Perform rough-in and finish plumbing on custom residential construction projects.
- Install and work with copper, PVC, CPVC, cast iron, ABS, and other non-PEX piping systems.
- Sweat, braze, solder, and assemble piping systems according to plans and specifications.
- Install plumbing fixtures, water heaters, gas lines, DWV systems, and water supply systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Install residential split-system air conditioning units, including condensers, air handlers, line sets, and condensate drains.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and startup procedures.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable building, plumbing, mechanical, and safety codes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Coordinate work effectively with project managers, builders, and other trades.
Responsibilities
- Must be at lest 18 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Commercial and residential plumbing experience.
- Experience working on custom residential construction projects.
- Experience with non-PEX plumbing installations.
- Proficient in copper pipe installation, soldering, and brazing.
- Experience installing residential split-system AC systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Must provide and maintain your own tools of the trade.
- Must have and wear all required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must possess a valid OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
The hourly rate for this position is $$30. - $40./hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
