Job Description

As a Press Brake Operator with PRST, you’ll support a contractor in Anaheim. Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES: Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Bystronic press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

• Select and install the appropriate tooling and dies based on job requirements.

• Make necessary machine adjustments to ensure accurate and consistent bending angles and dimensions.

• Monitor the production process, inspect parts for quality, and make real-time adjustments.

• Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machines to ensure they operate smoothly and efficiently.

• Collaborate with team members, including engineers and quality control personnel, to resolve production issues and meet project deadlines.

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety protocols and guidelines.

• Document and record job information, including setup details, production counts, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualifications:
  • • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator, with a preference for Bystronic press brake machines.
  • • Knowledge of Bysoft 7 Software is a plus.
  • • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • • Strong mathematical skills and the ability to accurately measure and inspect parts.
  • • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet production deadlines.
  • • Physical stamina and the ability to stand, lift, and bend for extended periods.
  • • Prior knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to workplace safety.
  • • Be at least 18 years of age
  • • E-Verify - Eligible to work in the USA
  • • Verifiable work history that confirms your experience in the trade

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00-$25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
