Job Description

Assist the Senior Shop Manager with fulfilling production orders and maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe shop environment.

Operate a variety of woodshop equipment to process raw boards into finished products, including cutting, sanding, and assembly.

Load, unload, and move materials throughout the shop; organize and stage inventory to support smooth production flow.

Follow all shop safety procedures and cleanup routines to ensure a clean, safe, and productive workspace.

Support packaging, labeling, and shipping of finished goods as needed.
Responsibilities
Comfortable operating power tools and woodworking machinery in a shop or factory setting.
Maintain strong safety awareness and consistently follow established shop protocols.
Work efficiently with a strong sense of urgency, focus, and pride in producing quality results.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive—always looking for ways to add value and improve efficiency.
Open to feedback and skill development, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Team-oriented and dependable—collaborates well with others and contributes positively to shop morale.
Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly throughout the shift, including handling lumber and materials.
Comfortable with frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching in a fast-paced production environment.
Able to work safely and effectively in a warehouse or millwork shop environment with fluctuating temperatures, sawdust, and noise.
The hourly rate for this position is $20/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
