Overview

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems associated with commercial solar energy systems, including wiring, inverters, and electrical panels.
• Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers and solar installers to ensure timely project completion.
• Work at heights on commercial flat roofs, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Provide technical support to other team members and clients, if necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• ourneyman or Master Electrician license required.
• 3+ years of experience working with commercial solar energy systems, electrical installations, or related fields.
• Proficient in reading electrical blueprints and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Ability to work on commercial flat roofs and at heights, with proper safety equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with solar panel installation and battery storage systems.
• Knowledge of DC electrical systems and PV design.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Prior experience in the renewable energy industry.
• The hourly rate for this position is $50/hr. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
