Responsibilities
- Hours: Monday through Friday day shift. Weekend work potentially available.
- Using hand or electric tools to fabricate, cut, and install framework.
- Build metal, wood framing, and roof truss components.
- Maintain, construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard.
- Perform residential and commercial projects.
- Complete Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures.
- Being confident in framing, measuring, trim work, and finishing work
- Review blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
- Follow safety practices at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Be at least 18+ years of age. Valid RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS for Employment in the US
- 2+ plus years of Finish/Rough commercial/residential carpentry experience
- Strong scheduling and blueprint reading skills as well as knowledge of metal stud/wood framing, material management, metal doors, hardware install, drywall, trim, cabinets/counter tops, suspended grid, tile install, etc.
- Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
- Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload wood and other materials as well as carry needed tools and materials to and from the jobsite.
- Position may require additional screenings.
- The hourly rate for this position is $25-32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
