Job Description
As a finish & trim carpenter with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support carpenter contractors throughout the Memphis, TN area. In this carpentry role, you’ll earn $23-26 an hour and enjoy weekly pay, health insurance benefits and a flexible work schedule. - Report to the customer’s shop each day and travel to assigned installation jobsites using a company-approved vehicle.
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and project specifications to plan and execute custom carpentry projects.
- Assemble, install, and finish custom millwork products, including:
- Cabinetry
- Furniture
- Molding and trim
- Architectural woodwork
- Perform precise measurements, joinery, and assembly to ensure products meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools, including saws, planers, routers, and other carpentry equipment.
- Install custom millwork and wood products at project sites.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to pass background check and drug scerening
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Must have PPE, tools and transportation.
- Proven experience as a finish or trim carpenter.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (saws, hammers, drills, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Strong measurement and cutting skills to ensure accuracy.
- Problem-solving skills to handle unforeseen issues during installation.
- Excellent attention to detail for a high-quality finish.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
The hourly rate for this position is $23.00-$26.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
