Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish framing for residential and commercial structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood, metal, and other materials accurately
- Install walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and structural components
- Ensure work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and project standards
- Collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors, and other trades on-site
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Identify material needs and report shortages or issues promptly
- Troubleshoot framing and structural challenges as they arise
Responsibilities
- 3–6 years of carpentry experience, with a strong emphasis on framing
- Experience in both commercial and residential construction environments
- Ownership of reliable personal carpentry tools
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and construction plans
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
- Physically able to lift heavy materials and perform manual labor in varying conditions
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
The hourly rate for this position is $24 - $26/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
