Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Drywall Carpenter to join our team on a commercial construction project. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in hanging, installing, and cutting drywall, as well as working with metal framing and backing. This role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to work alongside other trades to ensure high-quality finishes throughout the project.

Responsibilities:
• Hang and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings
• Cut, fit, and secure drywall around openings, mechanicals, and architectural details
• Install backing, blocking, and framing support as needed
• Work with metal studs, top track, and framing components
• Patch, repair, and prepare surfaces for finishing crews
• Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and project specifications
• Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all site safety rules

Responsibilities

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a drywall carpenter or drywall hanger in commercial construction
• Ability to measure, cut, and install drywall accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity working with metal framing, backing, and blocking
• Skilled with screw guns, rotozips, saws, and other drywall tools
• Strong understanding of layout, wall systems, and commercial framing
• Must have own basic tools and required PPE

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00-26.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
