Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Hang and install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings
• Cut, fit, and secure drywall around openings, mechanicals, and architectural details
• Install backing, blocking, and framing support as needed
• Work with metal studs, top track, and framing components
• Patch, repair, and prepare surfaces for finishing crews
• Read and follow blueprints, layouts, and project specifications
• Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all site safety rules
Responsibilities
• Proven experience as a drywall carpenter or drywall hanger in commercial construction
• Ability to measure, cut, and install drywall accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity working with metal framing, backing, and blocking
• Skilled with screw guns, rotozips, saws, and other drywall tools
• Strong understanding of layout, wall systems, and commercial framing
• Must have own basic tools and required PPE
The hourly rate for this position is $24.00-26.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
