Job Description
- Position: Carpenter Helper / Skilled Laborer
- Location: East Hampton, CT area — job sites typically within a 20–35 mile radius of East Hampton
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift: Day Shift
- Hours: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Duration: Potential ongoing/long-term work with opportunities to move from project to project
- Work Type: Residential Construction
- Project Locations: Site locations may change; the customer will provide site-change information directly to the worker
- Background Check: Tier 1 & NSOR required for residential work
- Assisting carpenters with residential construction projects
- Site cleanup and material handling
- Pressure washing
- Gutter installation
- Window installation and trim work
- Exterior refinishing
- Measuring and cutting materials
- Using cordless drills, Skillsaw, Sawzall, and other power tools
- Working safely from ladders
- Supporting carpenters and other trades as needed
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
Responsibilities
- 1–2 years of basic carpentry experience preferred
- 3+ years of skilled labor experience
- Ability to measure and cut materials accurately
- Experience using standard power tools
- Comfortable working from ladders and at heights
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Tier 1 and NSOR background screening required for residential work
- Reliable transportation to varying job sites
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors as needed

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
