Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is now hiring experienced Metal Framers for a commercial construction project in University Park, Pennsylvania. We are looking to bring on an initial crew of 5 skilled framers with the opportunity to expand the team based on performance and project needs.
Pay & Project Details
- Pay Rate: $52.92/hour
- Project Location: University Park
- Start Date: 05/18/2026
- Project Duration: Approximately 1 Month
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Shift Start Time: 7:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Layout and install metal stud framing systems
- Measure, cut, and assemble metal framing components
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Install wall track, studs, backing, and framing supports
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Work alongside other skilled trades on active commercial job sites

Requirements
- Proven experience as a commercial metal framer
- Ability to work independently and with a crew
- Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Ability to lift, carry, and work with framing materials throughout the shift
- Familiarity with commercial construction safety standards
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Must bring standard hand tools
Additional Information
- Initial hiring goal is 5 framers
- Additional crew members may be added based on skill level and project performance
- Limited paid parking available on-site
- Report directly to the onsite Jobsite Supervisor

The hourly rate for this position is $52.92-$52.92/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
