Responsibilities
- Run conduit and install electrical wiring for commercial buildings and facilities.
- Pull wires and connect electrical components, ensuring systems are installed according to plans and codes.
- Install and hang lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and other electrical systems.
- Work with tray tables for wire management and system organization.
- Install electrical panels, breakers, and circuit systems in compliance with electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical systems as needed.
- Ensure safety standards and best practices are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members on-site to ensure smooth project progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician.
- Knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Comfortable working with various tools, including power tools, hand tools, and testing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
- OSHA or similar safety certifications are a plus.
The hourly rate for this position is $26.00-$34.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
