Overview

Responsibilities

• Inspect roof structure, clearing hazards and debris.
• Safely installing scaffolding, ladders, and roof hoist equipment as needed for roof access.
• Mop and pour hot asphalt and tar onto low or steep roof base while applying gravel or peddle using rakes or staff-bristle.
• Spray treatment chemicals, install vapor barriers, and/or caulking.
• Repair, replace, or remove broken materials.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 2 yrs. roofing experience (EPDM, Mop-down or TPO systems) strongly preferred.
• OSHA certified or willingness to obtain along with knowledge of safety practices and regulations such as fall prevention.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. safely and on a consistent basis.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Self-motivated with great attention to detail.
• The hourly rate for this position is $20-$24/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
