Concrete Worker

Overview

Responsibilities

• Able to read and understand blueprints 
• Form ground and vertical forms for sidewalks, drive areas, and concrete columns
• Measure, cut, and assemble boards, timbers, or plywood based on precise measurements
• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools. 
• Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters, patch voids
• Use saws to cut expansion joints

Qualifications & Experience

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to measure, cut, and set forms
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Prior experience in the carpentry field required
• Prior experience using power tools such has jack hammers, grinders, and concrete saws
• Have tools and to bring them to the job site with you each day
• The hourly rate for this position is $22-$27/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
