Job Description
- Build, assemble, set, align, and strip concrete forms
- Construct formwork for walls, footings, slabs, columns, beams, and other structural concrete elements
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, dimensions, and layout information
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install lumber, plywood, steel forms, and related materials
- Install bracing, supports, stakes, ties, and other forming components
- Assist with concrete placement, spreading, screeding, and finishing as directed
- Assist with stripping, cleaning, and preparing forms for reuse
- Perform general concrete construction and site preparation duties
- Safely operate hand and power tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow direction from foremen and project supervision
- Follow OSHA and project-specific safety requirements
Responsibilities
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Previous form carpentry and/or concrete construction experience
- Must have OSHA 10 certification
- Must have tools of the trade
- Must have full PPE
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
- Must be able to work up to 60 hours per week
- Must be able to perform physically demanding construction work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working outdoors
- Must successfully complete all required pre-employment clearances, including:
- Background Check
- Drug Screen
The hourly rate for this position is $$23. - $35./hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
