Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking a motivated Commercial Electrician for a large-scale renovation project in Meriden, CT.
Join a team transforming a 260,000-square-foot warehouse into a state-of-the-art liquor distribution facility. This existing building has been completely gutted and is being rebuilt from the ground up, offering electricians the opportunity to work on a major commercial construction project.
Job Duties Include:
- Running electrical conduit
- Pulling and terminating wire
- Installing commercial lighting systems
- Performing general commercial electrical installations
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and specifications
- Ensuring all work complies with electrical codes and job site safety standards
- Working collaboratively with other trades to meet project deadlines
- Position: Commercial Electrician
- Location: Meriden, CT
- Pay Rate: $46.00–$48.00 per hour
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift: Morning Shift – 7:00 AM Start
- Project Type: Commercial Warehouse Renovation & Conversion
- Parking: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Previous commercial electrical experience required
- Experience with conduit installation, wire pulling, and lighting installation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have standard electrical hand tools
- Ability to work Monday–Friday starting at 7:00 AM
- Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and reliability

The hourly rate for this position is $46.00 - 48.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
