Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking a motivated Pipefitter for a commercial HVAC project involving multiple tenant units.
The ideal candidate will have experience with refrigeration piping installations and HVAC systems. This project includes installing line sets for 1.5 to 2-ton HVAC systems and supporting exhaust ducting installations in a commercial construction environment.
Job Duties Include:
- Installing refrigeration piping and line sets
- Supporting installation of 1.5 to 2-ton HVAC systems
- Assisting with exhaust ducting installation
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
- Working safely and efficiently to meet project schedules
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Position: Pipefitter
- Location: Windsor CT
- Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour
- Project Duration: Approximately 60 Days
- Start Date: 06/15/2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Shift: Morning Shift – 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Parking: Available On Site
- Project Type: Commercial Multi-Tenant Buildout
Responsibilities
- Previous pipefitting experience required
- Experience installing refrigeration piping and line sets required
- Commercial HVAC experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

The hourly rate for this position is $50.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
