Pay & Assignment
- Location: NAS Lemoore, CA
- Duration: Approximately 3+ months, opportunity to work on additional projects/travel
- Start: ASAP / By August 30
- Schedule: Full-time, project-based. 6 am – 2:30pm shift
- Travel: Long-term travel is an option once this assignment ends.
- Travel support: Housing, transportation, and travel stipend provided as applicable
What You'll Do
- Manage daily onsite construction activities, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project schedules
- Serve as the primary field presence and maintain professional relationships with the owner, site occupants, subcontractors, and project team
- Enforce OSHA and EM 385-1-1 safety requirements
- Monitor jobsite safety, quality control, production, and overall project progress
- Ensure accurate daily reports are completed for production, quality, manpower, and safety
- Communicate daily project status, issues, and progress with the Project Manager
- Identify field issues and work with the project team to resolve them efficiently
- Assist with project planning, material procurement, scheduling, and coordination
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional construction site
Responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of construction project management or field management experience
- Experience managing commercial, government, military, or public-sector construction projects
- Federal construction experience strongly preferred
- Experience supervising subcontractors and onsite crews
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, scheduling, safety, and quality control
- Knowledge of OSHA and EM 385-1-1 requirements
- Ability to effectively lead a jobsite and hold subcontractors accountable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Must be willing and able to work at an out-of-state project site for the duration of the assignment
Preferred
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, or other federal construction projects
- Design-build experience
- Experience with government project documentation and quality control requirements

The hourly rate for this position is $55 - $70/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
