Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry on custom residential projects
- Leveling and straight edging, detail work, etc.
- Layout, frame, and install walls, floors, ceilings, and roof systems
- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, trim, crown molding, base, and built-ins
- Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and architectural plans
- Work closely with project managers and other trades to maintain schedule and quality
- Maintain clean and organized job sites
- Ensure all work meets California building code standards

Responsibilities
- 5+ years of carpentry experience (custom residential preferred)
- Self sufficient and fully tooled in the trade.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on luxury or coastal homes.
- Knowledge of seismic requirements and California building codes.
- Ability to mentor apprentices or lead small crews.
- Familiarity with framing, siding, decking, and custom millwork.
The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $40/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
