Job Description
- Read blueprints and layout drywall panels accurately
- Cut, fit, and hang drywall on walls and ceilings
- Ensure proper spacing and alignment of drywall sheets
- Apply joint compound to seams and fasteners
- Sand dried compound to create a smooth surface
- Prepare walls for final painting and texturing
- Tape and finish drywall joints and corners
- Apply multiple coats of joint compound as needed
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality finish
Responsibilities
- Minimum 2 years' experience in commercial drywall installation
- Knowledge of drywall tools and equipment
- Ability to read construction drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation to job sites
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
