Responsibilities
- Assist with patch, repair, floating , mudding, and finishing work of shower surroundings.
- Cutting drywall to the right size, using a utility knife and power tools.
- Filling joints, holes, and cracks with compound, using trowel and broad knife.
- Ability to handle all aspects of the project including planning, installing/ hanging, taping, finishing , and cleanup.
- Ability to assemble and organize tools, equipment, and supplies to monitor inventory and materials.
- Always maintain safety practices. Educated on OSHA requirements and other safety regulations.
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
- Be at least 18+ years of age.
- Valid Right to Work Documents for Employment in the US.
- 3+ years consecutive experience as a Drywall Finisher.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must have tools for the trade.
- OSHA 10 preferred, not required or willingness to obtain it.
