We are seeking an experienced Drywall Finisher with 3+ years of professional experience to join our team for a new hotel construction project near Columbia, SC. The primary focus of this role will be taping and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth and polished result. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare drywall for finishing by ensuring surfaces are clean, smooth, and ready for tape and mud application.
  • Apply tape and joint compound to seams, corners, and other areas as needed.
  • Sand and finish surfaces to ensure a flawless and even appearance.
  • Repair any imperfections or damage in drywall surfaces.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment required for the job.
  • Work efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and site-specific requirements at all times.

Responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a drywall finisher in commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in taping, mudding, and sanding techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, professional results.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in a construction environment.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to bring basic tools to the job site.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Be at least 18+ years of age
  • Ability to work with various trades and assist with organizing materials for the work being completed
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

The hourly rate for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
