Scope of work: Replacing plastics on conveyor belt. 

Job Title: Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:
Seeking a reliable Conveyor Belt Maintenance Technician to replace plastic wear strips, guides, and components on conveyor systems. The ideal candidate will safely remove worn plastics, install new materials, and ensure conveyors are aligned and operating efficiently to minimize downtime.

Job Duties:

Remove and replace worn plastic wear strips, guide rails, chain guides, and other conveyor plastic components.
Inspect conveyor systems for wear, damage, and alignment issues.
Use hand and power tools to remove and install conveyor components.
Ensure proper alignment and secure installation of all replacement parts.
Test conveyor operation after repairs and make adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety policies and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Report any additional maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
Assist with general conveyor maintenance and repairs as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous industrial maintenance or conveyor repair experience preferred.
Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

The hourly rate for this position is $25.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
