Job Title: Electrical Foreman (Licensed – Hospital Projects)
Location: McKinney, Texas
Pay Rate: $55/hour (based on experience)
License Required: Active Texas Journeyman License (TDLR)
Overview:
PeopleReady Skilled Trades (PRST) is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead crews on a commercial hospital project in McKinney, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong field experience in healthcare construction who can manage crews, coordinate workflow, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and up to code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate electrical crews on-site
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project plans
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to team members
- Oversee installation of conduit, cable tray, and electrical systems
- Coordinate and execute large cable pulls
- Supervise installation of switchgear, distribution panels, transformers, fire alarm, and control systems
- Ensure proper layout and installation of conduit racks, wire runs, and rooftop tie-ins
- Maintain productivity while enforcing safety standards and code compliance
- Communicate with project managers, other trades, and site leadership
- Perform hands-on electrical work as needed
Responsibilities
Requirements:
- Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR) – REQUIRED
- Proven Foreman or leadership experience on commercial projects
- Hospital or healthcare construction experience – REQUIRED
- Strong conduit bending skills (must be able to bend pipe proficiently)
- Experience with switchgear, panels, transformers, and cable tray systems
- Ability to lead crews while working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation and tools of the trade

The hourly rate for this position is $55/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
