Job Description
PRST is seeking Journeyman-Level Electricians who are skilled and self motivated. As a Journeyman Electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support on local projects with wire terminations and troubleshooting low voltage devices. Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Install, mount, and secure panels and low-voltage electrical devices
- Pull, route, and label low-voltage cabling
- Fabricate and install various types of cable trays, conduit, and supports
- Mount and wire LED fixtures in high-bay and cleanroom areas
- Install lighting controls and occupancy sensors as per plan
- Perform wire terminations for control panels, devices, and systems
- Troubleshoot and test low voltage systems
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Work at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
- Conduct site assessments to plan cable routing and system layout
- Follow all NEC, state, and local code requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and code-compliant work area
Qualifications & Experience
- Journeyman Electrician License
- OSHA 10 Certification
- Aerial Lift Certification is a plus
- Additional Skills That Set You Apart:
- Experience with control systems, building automation, or integrated systems
- Familiarity with NEC and local codes for low-voltage installations
- Ability to work independently or lead a small crew
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Comfort working in commercial and industrial environments
The hourly rate for this position is $45.00-$50.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
