Job Description

PRST is seeking Journeyman-Level Electricians who are skilled and self motivated. As a Journeyman Electrician with PeopleReady Skilled Trades, you’ll support on local projects with wire terminations and troubleshooting low voltage devices. Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Install, mount, and secure panels and low-voltage electrical devices
  • Pull, route, and label low-voltage cabling
  • Fabricate and install various types of cable trays, conduit, and supports
  • Mount and wire LED fixtures in high-bay and cleanroom areas
  • Install lighting controls and occupancy sensors as per plan
  • Perform wire terminations for control panels, devices, and systems
  • Troubleshoot and test low voltage systems
  • Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Work at heights using ladders, lifts, and scaffolding
  • Conduct site assessments to plan cable routing and system layout
  • Follow all NEC, state, and local code requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and code-compliant work area

Qualifications & Experience

  • Journeyman Electrician License
  • OSHA 10 Certification
  • Aerial Lift Certification is a plus
  • Additional Skills That Set You Apart:
  • Experience with control systems, building automation, or integrated systems
  • Familiarity with NEC and local codes for low-voltage installations
  • Ability to work independently or lead a small crew
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfort working in commercial and industrial environments

The hourly rate for this position is $45.00-$50.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
