Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is currently hiring Experienced Commercial Electricians for an upcoming hotel remodel project in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, with an estimated start May 10th, 2026. This project requires electricians with strong commercial experience, particularly working with large electrical switchgear, conduit installation, and feeder conductor installation.
This is a great opportunity for electricians who are comfortable working in an active facility and can adapt to flexible scheduling as sections of the hotel are shut down to complete electrical upgrades.
Job Responsibilities

Install and assist with large electrical switchgear systems

Run large electrical conduit
-
Pull and terminate large feeder conductors

Work within designated hotel areas that are temporarily shut down for electrical upgrades

Test and verify electrical systems are functioning properly before restoring power

Follow all safety procedures and electrical codes

Coordinate with the project team to ensure work is completed efficiently before reopening sections
Schedule
Due to the nature of the project being performed in an operating hotel, electricians must be able to work:

After-hours shifts

Overtime when required

Flexible schedules depending on the shutdown schedule for each section of the hotel – switching between day and night shift as needed
Responsibilities
Prior experience installing large switchgear
Experience running large conduit and pulling feeder conductors
Strong commercial or industrial electrical experience
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts
Must be reliable and able to work independently or with a team
Must be flexible with scheduling
Own tools and ability to bring them to the job site with you each day
The hourly rate for this position is $26-$32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
