Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all aspects of electrical construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Lead and oversee electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to maintain schedules and productivity
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders
- Prepare and review project documentation, schedules, and progress reports
- Resolve field issues and project challenges in a timely manner
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to field personnel
Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years of Electrical Superintendent experience
- Proven ability to lead crews of 8–10 employees
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Experience with project scheduling, workforce coordination, and project management tools
- Candidates seeking continued employment following completion of the Jacksonville project must be willing to travel to future project locations
The hourly rate for this position is $46-$50/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
