Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee regular maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of HSU property and equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on buildings and facilities.
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs (HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, electrical).
- Coordinate ground maintenance and vendor negotiations.
- Manage cleaning schedules and special projects.
- Monitor essential building systems for efficiency.
- Prepare maintenance and repair reports.
- Participate in safety committees and training.
Responsibilities
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license and ability to be insured.
- Experience with basic tools for maintenance and repairs.
- Ability to read building plans.
- OSHA 10-hour training certificate (training can be provided).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and other project management software.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
- Comfort working around animals in a noisy environment.
- Flexible work schedule including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- On-call availability for emergent facility issues.
The hourly rate for this position is $21.00 - 24.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
