Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring experienced Commercial Carpenters for ongoing projects in the DC area. We’re looking for dependable, safety-focused carpenters who take pride in quality craftsmanship. Projects include interior and exterior commercial construction, remodels, and tenant build-outs.
Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, and other materials

Frame walls, ceilings, and partitions

Install doors, windows, trim, and commercial fixtures

Perform layout and finish work with precision

Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to meet project goals

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site
Responsibilities
Minimum 3 years of commercial carpentry experience
Strong knowledge of framing, finish, and layout techniques
Must have own hand and power tools
PPE required (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, work boots)
Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or elevated platforms
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
The hourly rate for this position is $$30 - $32/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
