PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking a Finish Carpenter to support an event set up company in Houston, TX.
Location: Houston TX 77054
Pay: $25-$30/hour, Depending upon experience.
Duration: 6 days
Start: May 24th
Schedule: Morning Shift

Job Duties:
- Shift: Sunday to Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, 5/24 to 5/29, NO Overtime
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Unload materials from a trailer and move them inside the facility.
- Stage the materials per the floor plan to ensure proper placement for each section to be built.
- Assemble and build prefabricated pieces for each section per the blueprints and instructions given orally and written.
- Make adjustments to prefabricated materials as needed.
- Work safely in various environments, including heights and confined spaces
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
Responsibilities
Pay:
$25-$30/hour
Depending upon the level of experience you have.
No overtime is offered.
Qualifications:
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Must have 3 years MINIMUM experience as a Carpenter REQUIRED.
• Must have 2 years MINIMUM experience in assembling pre-fab materials REQUIRED.
- Good example is people who do commercial retail installs and resets.
• All experience MUST be in the last 7 years.
• Must have good situational awareness.
• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• OSHA-10 Construction Certification is a plus but not required.
The hourly rate for this position is $25-$30/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
