Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking experienced, Journeyman Finish Carpenters for custom residential projects in the Palo Alto area.
The contractors we work with are looking for individuals with proven skills that can help deliver on the exceptional quality of work they promise to their customers. Our employees are involved in a variety of high-end custom home builds and remodels all around the bay.

$45-50 DOE
Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary from site to site and even day to day. You may be asked to:
• Shape and cut materials to custom specifications, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
• Install doors, windows, stairs, baseboards and crown molding
• Build or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, finishing interior and exterior trim, and other wooden fixtures
• Handle high-end materials with care, accuracy and efficiency
• Read and interpret blueprints and prepare the layout and scope of work for the project
• Maintain best practices for safety at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- • 8+ years of finish carpentry experience, knowledgeable in interior finish concepts
- • Strong scheduling and blueprint reading skills
- • Reliable transportation to and from jobsites
- • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload wood and other materials as well as carry needed tools and materials to and from the jobsite
- • Valid Right to Work documents
- • Ability to pass drug screen and background check (when applicable)
- • Basic/power tools may be required
