Job Description
Build and Assemble Forms – Construct and deconstruct temporary molds from wood, metal, or other materials to shape wet concrete.
Measure and cut materials – Use measuring tools to accurately cut materials like wood and plywood according to plans.
Follow blueprints – Interpret and follow blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine project layout and dimensions.
Ensure accuracy – Position forms precisely to ensure the final concrete structures have the correct shape and size.
Maintain safety – Follow all safety rules and regulations, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Work with tools – Use a variety of hand and power tools for tasks such as cutting, shaping, and assembling.
Assist with concrete work – May be involved in placing and finishing concrete after the forms are set.
General labor – Perform other related duties as required, which can include general labor and site cleanup.
Responsibilities
Requirements:
Minimum 3+ years of construction or form-building experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
Skilled in the safe use of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, chisels, levels, clamps)
Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols and use of required PPE
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, standing, and working outdoors for extended periods
Reliable transportation to and from the job site
Must have and maintain the following Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Steel Toe Boots
Hard Hat
Safety Glasses
Safety Vest
Work Gloves
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team on large-scale commercial projects
The hourly rate for this position is $28.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
