Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is seeking a carpenter for a construction bridge project in Scottsville, VA. The ideal candidates will have 4 years of form carpentry experience along with the ability to construct or assemble concrete forming systems, according to blueprints and specifications, for forming concrete structures, construct erect, install, and repair structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools. -Recognize various materials used in carpentry
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints
-Must be able to identify material required for project
-Must be knowledgeable of measurements and dimensions
-Must be able to use power tools
-Ability to lift up 50lbs
Qualifications & Experience
- -Must have reliable transportation
- -Lift large objects, and perform typical construction tasks
- -Must be able to read measuring tape and level
- -Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- -Must have 4 years of experience
