Job Description
We are hiring a Mid-Level Outside Machinist / Heavy Equipment Mechanic for a growing company located in West Valley City. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and machining experience who enjoys working on and maintaining equipment in a professional shop environment.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering competitive pay and consistent hours in a clean, air-conditioned warehouse facility.
Pay: $34–$38 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM start time
Parking: On-site
Tools Required: Basic hand tools
Job Responsibilities

Perform repair and preventative maintenance on machine shop equipment

Work on manual lifts and heavy shop machinery

Assist with diagnosing mechanical issues and completing repairs

Work under the guidance of a Master Mechanic

Maintain safe work practices and keep equipment operating efficiently

Help maintain an organized and clean shop environment
Responsibilities
3–5 years of machinist or heavy equipment mechanic experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
Ability to work with machine shop equipment and manual lifting systems
Must be reliable and able to be on time daily
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
The hourly rate for this position is $34.00-$38.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
