Job Description
PeopleReady Skilled Trades is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of general building systems and the ability to troubleshoot and complete a wide range of repair tasks independently and safely.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs across various properties, including:

Plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and basic HVAC tasks

Conduct seasonal property inspections and document deficiencies or safety concerns
-
Complete minor electrical, painting, and finish work as needed

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
-
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area

Communicate effectively with property managers and tenants
Responsibilities
Minimum 3 years of general maintenance or handyman experience
Working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, drywall repair, and HVAC basics
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, boots, etc.)
The hourly rate for this position is $35.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
