Job Title: Duct Installer (Commercial – Indoor Work)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Duct Installer to perform HVAC ductwork installation in a commercial building environment. This position involves working indoors to install, assemble, and secure duct systems according to project specifications and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC duct systems including rectangular and round ductwork
- Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal and flexible ducts
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and layout plans
- Hang and secure duct systems using appropriate supports and hardware
- Seal joints and connections to ensure proper airflow and efficiency
- Assist with insulating ductwork as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all job site safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Work closely with foremen and other trades on-site
Responsibilities
- Experience with commercial duct installation preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork components
- Fully tooled and sufficient with hand and power tools (drills, snips, saws, etc.)
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Comfortable working on ladders and lifts
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- E-Verify - Eligible to work in the USA
The hourly rate for this position is $30.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
