Responsibilities
- Install and set up multiple residential furnaces in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local code requirements
- Assist in the layout and installation of ductwork systems, including cutting, measuring, and securing ducts
- Run and secure vent piping through rooflines, ensuring proper sealing and safe exhaust routing
- Rough-in HVAC systems, including placement of air handlers, line sets, and refrigerant piping
- Support team in system testing, pressure checks, and pre-commissioning preparation
- Maintain job site cleanliness and follow safety protocols at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on HVAC experience (residential or light commercial)
- Proficient with furnace installation, ductwork layout, and vent pipe installation
- Ability to read and follow blueprints or mechanical drawings
- Comfortable working on ladders, rooftops, and in confined spaces
- Familiar with rough-in procedures for HVAC systems
- Must have basic hand and power tools for the trade
- Reliable transportation to and from job site
- Must be able to work full shifts and lift 50+ lbs as needed
- PPE required: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and work boots
- Must meet all safety standards and follow site protocols
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00-$27.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
