Job Description
Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including:
-
Split systems, rooftop units (RTUs), heat pumps, chillers, and boilers, Variable air volume (VAV) and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems

Ductwork fabrication, sealing, and modification

Refrigeration piping and brazing

Troubleshoot electrical components, thermostats, control systems, and sensors

Inspect and replace belts, filters, and fans as part of preventive maintenance

Follow all OSHA and site safety standards — professionalism and safety aren’t optional

Accurately document work performed and communicate with supervisors and clients
Responsibilities
Minimum 3+ years of HVAC field experience (commercial or industrial preferred)
- Complete / Pass pre-employment screening to work on Federal Property
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, air distribution, and control logic
EPA Section 608 certification (Type II or Universal) required
HVAC license (state or local) preferred but not mandatory
Must have your own basic hand tools and reliable transportation
Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
Dependable, professional, and able to work independently or on a team
The hourly rate for this position is $28.00 - 36.00/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
