Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team on a major steel mill project. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working with commercial HVAC systems and copper refrigerant lines.
Scope of work:

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems

Work onsite at a steel mill that is currently under construction and not yet in production

Run and braze copper refrigerant linesets ranging from 3/8" up to 2-1/8"

Read and work from plans, drawings, and specifications

Perform system installations and startup-related tasks

Follow all jobsite safety procedures and industry standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Responsibilities
EPA 608 Certification – REQUIRED
Proven HVAC installation and service experience
Strong copper pipe/lineset installation and brazing skills
Experience using an oxy/acetylene torch
Ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems
Ability to work safely in an industrial/construction environment
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The hourly rate for this position is $$25-$40/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law.
