Job Description

PRST is seeking California-certified Journeyman Electricians for a long-term industrial project in Lost Hills. This is not light commercial or residential work. The scope is heavy electrical, high volume, and code-critical. If relocating, please still apply – we may have a travel/Per Diem opportunity.

Project Overview

Construction of a large industrial recycling plant
Electrical scope includes connecting main panels to 500+ motors over the duration of the project
Panel work will be performed only by California-certified electricians
Journeyman credentials are mandatory for this scope

Key Responsibilities

Install, terminate, and connect main distribution panels
Motor connections, controls, and related industrial wiring
Read and interpret industrial electrical drawings and schematics
Perform work in compliance with California electrical code and site safety requirements
Coordinate with foremen, inspectors, and other trades on an active industrial site

Responsibilities

Active California Journeyman Electrician Certification
Proven experience in industrial electrical construction
Strong background with panels, motors, and large-scale systems
Ability to work safely and productively on a large construction site
OSHA compliance and standard PPE

This role is intended for electricians who are comfortable with industrial environments, high motor counts, and strict compliance standards. This role requires a valid Journeyman CA Elec license.

The hourly rate for this position is $45 - $65/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
