Job Description
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning duct systems.
- Install 5, 2.5 ton units on roof of apartment complex.
- Install control units in the vents, in tight spaces.
- Operate hand/power tools (shears, plasma cutters, drills, saws, soldering equipment).
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal or flexible ducts to fit in tight spaces or around obstructions.
- Install new ductwork (metal/flex), HVAC equipment, hangers, and supports based on blueprints and building codes.
- Inspect installed ductwork for leaks using, at times, smoke or pressure tests, and seal all joints with mastic, tape, or rivets.

Responsibilities
The hourly rate for this position is $35 - $38/hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis unless a deadline is otherwise stated.
